Shores scored on all eight possessions in its 47-12 win over Zeeland West on Sailor Salute night. The scoring began with senior quarterback Mark Konecny scoring a TD on a 3-yard run in the first quarter. After the Dux tied the score at 6, Konecny connected with junior CJ Ivy for a 34-yard touchdown pass. Konecny’s second TD run, this time from 8 yards out, made it 20-6. After ZW’s final score of the night, the Sailors tallied one more TD in the first half when Konecny scored again to give Shores a 27-12 halftime lead. The second half was all Shores (3-1, 2-0). Senior Elijah Johnson scored on a 49-yard run, Dahmir Farnum had a 32-yard TD run, and Konecny hit Jaylen Vinton for 23-yard TD pass. Jeff Lenartowicz and Hayden Terpstra had seven tackles each for the Sailors. Brayton Conrad, Drew Sandberg and Kemper Milis had six tackles apiece.
